Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals, Canada

The Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP)

Originally founded over 110 years ago, has withstood the test of time by maintaining its relevance in a continually changing business environment. By listening to our members, tracking their needs, and those of the foodservice and hospitality industry, we have adapted our programs to meet these evolving requirements. CAFP is one of the originators of change management.

We honor our commitment to the foodservice industry through our support of Student Branches and provide numerous bursaries to deserving students each year - both at the Branch and National levels. CAFP encourages students in related foodservices programs to become the leaders of tomorrow, today. Many of our student members find employment opportunities though their CAFP experiences and become industry leaders.

CAFP also provides all industry professionals opportunities to attain professional credentialing with the Credentialed Foodservice Executive (CFE) Program– representing an individual’s achievement, knowledge, and dedication throughout a career.
Our program is recognized as the industry standard by the Canadian Human Resource and Tourism Council (CHRTC).
